You’ll arrive smiling. And we’ll make sure the Wow! factor stays with you at Crosswoodhill and lingers in your memories. Every year we like to add something new to woo you. This year it's a fabulous new play area exclusive to our guests in the woods next to our cottages.
But first, why not view a quick slide-show reflecting the Stay.. Play.. Relax… theme? Then below that you’ll find yet more benefits to add value to a stay at Crosswoodhill.
All four of our farm cottages on the Pentland Hills welcome children and pets.
Some are wheelchair friendly with ground floor bedrooms and bathrooms.
Enjoy exploring them individually, room by room, via our Gallery Page slide shows. Each has its own special ambience. Contemporary chic and underfloor heating. Traditional furnishings in tune with eighteenth century pine panelling and shutters. Or another style altogether in our Steading conversion.
Add to this real fires/multi-fuel stoves, free unlimited wi-fi, freedom to roam the farm, easy parking, rural tranquillity and so much more, and a stay at Crosswoodhill becomes a treasured experience.
The reassurance that we live close-by can offer real peace of mind to guests. We listen to you all and tweak our extra mile care accordingly. Over 20 years this has earned us many regional and national awards.
Our guests reward us with quotes like these, all to be found within our Trip Advisor reviews:
If all that sounds promising, we would love you to spend a couple of minutes relaxing whilst 40 rural images from our Crosswoodhill Farm Gallery unfold onto your screen. They hint at the great holiday home experience that could be in store for you
And what's so special about Our Area?
A half hour drive takes you into the heart of Edinburgh, an hour into Glasgow. Stunning and lively cities. Wedged between them is wondrous West Lothian with its wealth of attractions for all ages. And here, bounded by the Pentland Hills and sited in a green haven of rural tranquillity, you’ll find Crosswoodhill Farm.
Strike out north, south, east or west. Within a short drive (and you do need your own transport here) you’ll be amazed at the diversity of what you can see and do. Fascinating history and heritage within 15 miles. Sensational scenery in the Trossachs, Borders, Pentlands and Perthshire. Hills, lochs, glens. Climb a hill, enjoy a country park. Golf or fish. And on a rainy day retreat into iconic museums (many free), historic houses, a huge array of attractions or Livingston’s vast retail outlet 8 miles away. Or delve into our games and toy cupboards ….
... and you, too, can treasure memories of Crosswoodhill’s unique self catering holiday accommodation near Edinburgh, Scotland.
